WHAT WE DO
The Methow Valley Ciderhouse currently uses ten varieties of cider apples from old American, English, and French trees to make our delicious cider. We have plans to create other ciders from pears and berries in the future.
Growing great organic trees requires rich soil, water and sunshine – all of which we have in abundance. We irrigate our trees with water that originates from the deep winter snows in the North Cascades.
COME VISIT US
Give yourself a quick vacation and come on foot, bike, horseback, or by car to our elegant tasting tent where you can sip cider and enjoy stunning views. We aim to serve our first tastes by July 1st of 2010.
We’re easy to find – just 2.5 miles north of the Winthrop town center. From the 4 way stop, head up the hill two blocks and turn right at the stop sign. Follow the road (East Chewuch Road) out of town. Go 1 mile PAST the turn off to Pearrygin State Park. The sign will be on your right.
Can’t wait to see you for summer cider sippin’ time!
